Playing the Sims 4 Challenges

My name is Anna and I currently live in Charlotte, NC. I am an Accountant by day and a cake decorator in my spare time. I live with my boyfriend, our three dogs, and one cat. We both enjoy playing video games, but he has never played the Sims. I have been playing since the beginning with the original Sims back in the day. I have also played Sims 2 but was never a big fan of Sims 3.

Sims was my distraction during undergrad and grad school, but I took a break from playing since I was not really enjoying it and wasn't sure how I wanted to play. I guess you can say that I was burned out from playing it too much (yes, there is such a thing). 

Not too long ago, I discovered that a close friend of mine plays Sims as well and decided to start playing Sims 4. During that time, I discovered Kelsey and her 100 Baby Challenge along with other Sim Challenges that have been created. I decided the challenges would be my form of playing in the Sims (since it helps to have direction and a goal when I play). If you’ve ever witnessed a conversation between us, you would think we are mentally insane because of how much we talk about the Sim. I turned her on to the challenge playing mode and that now comprises 80% of our conversations.

The purpose of this blog is to keep track of my progress in my challenges and to also help or even entertain others that are playing the challenges or curious about playing them. I am not one to record myself, and sometimes when I am deep into game play, I don't talk a whole lot. So, keeping a blog is more my speed than it would be to record my game play or vlog about it!!
